It
cannot be denied that our country experiences active volcanisms and other
geographical activities such as earthquakes, volcanic eruptions and such.
Earthquake is everyone’s monster like enemy. The location of our country is
along the Pacific Ring of Fire which is an area in the basin of the Pacific
Ocean where large number of earthquakes occur. 
Conducting an earthquake drill can give benefit to all the people specially to the students who needs more attention in preparing for calamities. For us, in academe, it’s best to be prepared and ready for disasters because no one can predict when an earthquake may happen. Given the population of our school, it will never change the fact that stampede will occur. Thus, with proper training and advance planning, everyone in school community can be prepared to respond in accordance to what’s happening during and after the occurrence of earthquake.
As we live on a country where
earthquakes frequently occur, it’s best to include earthquake preparedness in
overall emergency plan. Given the fact that earthquakes won’t and can’t be
predicted, we should help each other’s hand to prepare the humankind for the
safety of our students and teachers.
